We interviewed Anna Eddie From Chicago, IL, USA with her pup Eddie, A.K.A. @eddiesworld01 on Instagram!
Tell us about Eddie!
“Eddie is a 5 yo Chihuahua MinPin who was rescued in the Bay Area when he was 2. He has a spunky personality and has energy for days!! I first saw him online and when I went to visit him at the shelter he was very timid and you could tell he didn’t trust people. Since then he has blossomed into the lovable boy he is with a ton of confidence.”
Who are you? What are you about!
“I am very proud to be Eddies mom. My family adopted our dog growing up so it’s something I’ve been passionate about for a long time, so when I felt I was ready for a dog of my own, adopting was the only option. I believe all dogs deserve a chance to find their happily ever after.”

Tell us a story!
“Eddie has a lot of energy, with that being said one of the first times we flew on a plane together he was in his carrying case at my feet. I had fallen asleep and Eddie had gotten loose from his case (he would bite and scratch at the zipper). He walked up and down the aisle while I was sleeping and when he was done he came back and jumped on my lap and that is how I woke up! Everyone around me was laughing and said that he was a good boy, just wanted to explore! It’s a memory I will never forget.”
What do you think it means to be a pet? What is a pet's purpose in this life?
“To me, being a pet means being a constant, comforting, and loving being for their owner in which we can find a partner in crime to go through life with. Besides being spoiled and taken care of, a pets purpose is the same as ours to them: no one has to be alone!”
How does your pup spark joy in your life?
“Eddie sparks joy in my life multiple times a day, everyday. He reminds me to find joy in the simple things such as going outside for a walk, eating food, and just being together on the couch. His energy is contagious and it’s hard to be sad when he is around.”
What do you think are the most pressing issues that are in the pet industry today?
“Humane Treatment of Animals”
Do you think it's more important to talk about the issues or act on them?
“Both”
