Sparky Steps was founded in 2016 with a dual mission: to spend our days providing exceptional care for your beloved pets and to inspire our community to volunteer and adopt local shelter animals. Our company is proudly named after our founder's rescue dog, Sparky, to honor his legacy. He brought so much joy into our lives that we dedicated our careers to animal welfare. All of our dog runners are certified in pet first aid by the American Red Cross, background-checked through Checkr, and fully licensed and insured for your complete peace of mind.

Interested in joining the Sparky Steps family? We offer a 100% free initial consultation to discuss your dog's energy level and unique needs. To ensure consistency and build a bond of trust, each pet is assigned two dedicated runners whom you will meet and approve before any service begins.

Our dog running visits are available on weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexible options for additional pets and off-hour requests to suit your busy Chicago lifestyle.

Good to Know
Weekend visits are $5 per visit, same-day reservations are $10 per visit, and off-hour requests (before 9 AM or after 5 PM) are $5 per visit. Please note that dog running is subject to availability and is not offered on holidays.
