How We Met ❤ Feat. @lordeddardgad

I wasn’t a dog person so to speak before I met my dog Ned. This is how we met: when I was in law school in Chicago, I went to a shelter in Joliet, Illinois to adopt a new cat. When I walked through the dog section, however, Ned (my dog) went nuts when I walked by his kennel. I asked the volunteer to tell me more about Ned.

Long story short, the shelter told me that Ned, his mom, and sister were found abandoned in a cardboard box on a playground in Kentucky. They were taken to a kill shelter in Kentucky, and the day before they were supposed to be euthanized, they were rescued by Happy Tails In Joliet, Illinois.

After I heard his story and held him in my arms, I had to have him. I took him home with me and he’s been nothing but trouble 😂 but I love him so much and wouldn’t have it any other way.
