We interviewed Molly George From Chicago, IL, USA with her pup George, A.K.A. @georgethesheepie on Instagram!
Tell us about George!
“George is hilarious, loving, sweet, goofy, mischievous, and friendly. He loves people, making dog friends, sitting on my lap, playing with his toys, going on walks, eating chicken, spending time outside, and LOVES to steal shoes. Whenever someone arrives to our house, he always has to bring them a toy. He loves making people feel loved!”

Who are you? What are you about!
“I'm a 27 year old lawyer living in Chicago. I love to travel, read, and mostly play with my dog, George.”
Where did you meet?
“Indiana.”

Tell us a story!
“I got George during the pandemic, and it turned out to be a difficult year for me in many different ways. I ultimately ended up moving halfway across the country and starting my life over with George when he was just seven months old. Every morning when I wake him up, he gives me the biggest greeting, brings me his "baby" and sits on my lap. If I'm sad, he'll lay his head on my lap or run around the room with a toy to make me laugh. He is the sweetest and most precious being in my life! He made the move a million times easier on me and has made it so much easier to meet new people.”

What do you think it means to be a pet? What is a pet's purpose in this life?
“I think that animals should first be regarded as living beings before they are regarded as pets. It's so important to remember that animals don't exist simply to be there for you in whatever capacity you need, but that they have their own needs and wants and they should be cared for much in the same way that we care for children. I think the purpose of a dog's life is love- they teach us to love unconditionally, to forgive when we make mistakes, and to be loyal to those we hold dear.”

How does your pup spark joy in your life?
“He is my best friend! We do everything together. He brings me so much laughter, friendship, love, and joy.”
What do you think are the most pressing issues that are in the pet industry today?
“Humane Treatment of Animals”
Do you think it's more important to talk about the issues or act on them?
“Both”

Thank you so much for sharing your story! We hope this will Spark someone to go out and make a difference in an animal’s life. We are so lucky to have doggies in our life.
